Crazy socks for cancer is the theme for this non profit org that will commence research for colon cancer, chrons disease, and diverticulitis. Many people including myself suffer from one or more of these ailments that often go without treatment because of the lack of education towards them. This grant will give us the start we need to set up our foundation which in turn will partner with physicians, nutritionist, and other partners to drive fund raising, educate the community through seminars, and assist patients suffering from financial restraints to gain proper treatment through grants. To show support for the cause, everyone can post pics of them wearing their favorite crazy socks on the website during "Wacky Sock Wednesday" held once a month and a prize will be given to the best post. Future plans include an annual gala amongst other events and even having sock manufacturers sponsor a design to sell on the site donating 100% of proceeds to the cause. Lets enrich lives!
