When cars honk, everyone in the area automatically assumes they're the one being honked at. And it's obnoxious. Why don't cars come stock with two horns: one that is the normal, loud, "GET OUT OF THE WAY" kind of honk, and another that is a quieter, more polite, "excuse me sir, but the light is green," or "pardon me, that was my fault" kind of horn. The world would be a better place.
